Developed long before modern day synthetic foam sponge, Cellulose is derived from wood fibre and is much gentler on painted surfaces. The Astral Cellulose Sponge is particularly good for the application of a variety of cleaning materials such as: Waxes ? Holds more product than a cloth and applies the wax more evenly. Dressings ? Gives both evenness and control of product application. The Astral Cellulose Sponge absorbs up to 20 times it?s own weight in water making it ideal as a Quality Vehicle Wash Sponge (even today, some vehicle manufacturers only recommend the use of cellulose sponges to wash their cars). The very high absorbancy also make the Astral Cellulose Sponge a brilliant wiper when used for general Hard Surface Cleaning and you can simply throw it in the washing machine after use to restore its performance.
Warranty Information
Best results are obtained if the sponge is dampened with water before use and squeezed until just damp. The sponge will dry out if left but will be restored to its original suppleness once moistened. For vehicle washing, use in the same way as a normal sponge. When required, the Astral Cellulose Sponge can be cleaned in the washing machine on a gentle 50??C. cycle.
